My Reflection

I have been learning to respond to a text using my prior knowledge and experience.  I found this hard because I had to figure out the words in the story that had syllables.  My next step is to make more connections with texts I read.

Comparing Fairy Tales

My Reflection

I have been learning to identify common themes in Fairy and fractured tales.  We read two narrtives called Red riding hood and Into the Forest.   A common theme I found from this story is that they both had to take something to their grandma.  I found this easy because I just had to find the differences and similarities.  My next step is to try and find more features in the books. 

Solving Problems Using Equal Sharing

My Reflection

I have been learning to solve problems using equal sharing.  I found this easy because all I had to do was share out the drumsticks.  My next step is to learn to do division without having the share out. 

Alphabet Symmetry Challenge

My Reflection

I found this piece of work easy because all I had to do is find out all the diagonal horizontal and vertical in all the letters of the alphabet and if they did have diagonal horizontal and vertical you do not put a line.

Character Description

W.a.l.t write a character description used adjectives.  I found this picture easy to describe because I found lots and lots of ideas.  I used my 5 senses to write 5 different sentences about my character.  My next step is to use a simile or metaphor.
