My Reflection

We have been learning to solve multiplication problems with arrays.  I found this easy because all you had to do was to sort out the problem.  My next step is to learn my times tables off by heart.

Classifying Celebrations

My Reflection

We have been learning about celebration.  There are different types of celebration.  We had to talk about these celebrations and decide what type of celebration they were.  I found this easy because I found out where they all go.

Comparing Celebrations

My Reflection

We have been learning to compare and contrast different celebration.  My group researched information about Chines new year.  Something I found interesting was that ti is celebrated on the 16th of February.  Next we worked with another group and used a venn diagram to compare our celebrations.  Things that were the same were special food.  My next step is to put more detail and information in the venn diagram. 

Adding Suffixes

I have been learning to understand how suffixes change the meaning of a word.  I found this easy because we just have to add ing and ed  to the word.  My next step is to be able to understand what a prefix is.

My Reflection

I have been learning to add detail to my writing.  We had to imagine we were a soldier or a family member and write about this picture.  I used punctuation to make my writing more interesting.  My next step is to add my 5 senses to more detail.
