My Reflection

I am learning to construct models of a polyhedra.  It was tricky to build my icosahedron because it kept falling apart.  My buddy was Denver  and she helped me to build a icosahedron.  I can explain the features of a polyhedra.  Next time I will construct another polyhedron.

Fractions

My Reflection

I am learning to find fractions of a set by equal sharing.  I am able to use skip counting and repeated addition to solve these problems.  My next step is to use multiplication facts to solve these problems.

Division

My Reflection 

I am learning to solve problems by making equal shares.  It was easy to use my multiplication fact knowledge to solve these problems.  My next step is to work out more complicated problems.

Parts of a Graph

My ReflectionI am learning the parts of a graph.

It was hard to put the labels in the right place.  This was hard because it was new learning.  My next step is to learn more about graphs.

Solving Problems Using Equal Sharing

My Reflection

I have been learning to solve problems using equal sharing.  I found this easy because all I had to do was share out the drumsticks.  My next step is to learn to do division without having the share out. 

Alphabet Symmetry Challenge

My Reflection

I found this piece of work easy because all I had to do is find out all the diagonal horizontal and vertical in all the letters of the alphabet and if they did have diagonal horizontal and vertical you do not put a line.

Place Value Partitioning to Subtract

My Reflection

I have been learning to use place value partitioning to solve subtraction problem.  I found this easy because all I did was doing takeaway problems.  My next step is to find out more subtraction problems.

Multiplication Arrays

We have been learning to solve multiplication problems with arrays.  I found this easy because all you had to do was to sort out the problem.  My next step is to learn my times tables off by heart.

I have been learning to collect data using a tally graph.  I found this easy because all you needed to do is ask people what their favourite icecream was. I was surprised that so many liked Cookie and Cream.  My next step is to show the data  on different types of graphs.

I have been learning to sort even and odd numbers. I found this easy because I no how to do it .My next step is to help Hayley to do the multiples of 5 properly.

Reflection; I was learning about adding and subtracting tens and ones in numbers.I can do adding and subtracting tens and ones in my numbers. It is easy to do adding and subtracting my numbers.

Multiplication

I was learning about using arrays.  I can do repeated addition in multiplication.  It was tricky to do groups of because I have to think very hard.

2D shapes- Shape monster

My shape monster’s name is Taylor. She has a green face and it is a rectangle. She has black stitches on her face. She has white eyes and little black dots in it’s eyes.

Identifying fractions

I was learning about fractions.I got a lot better at knowing about fifths.Now I know that the numerator is at the top and the denominator is at the bottom.
